Definition of Ambient Light
It’s light that provides overall illumination in a room i.e., It’s not targeted at a specific area like accent light. Rather, the entire section gets uniform brightness.
You may think of it as the main light that you turn on to help you walk about easily once you enter a room.
To maintain the warm, inviting atmosphere characteristic of ambient lighting, the color temperature should be about 3000 K. This also ensures that the light isn’t harsh on the eyes.
It’ll often be fitted on the outside of the sauna (at the top) and helps maintain safety by reducing the risk of falls.
