A wooden, movable support that curves inwards to the small of your back to provide comfort during sauna sessions.
Most backrests can be fitted anywhere in the sauna—where they can provide maximum comfort.
It usually consists of wooden panels fixed together, rather than a whole block of wood so the air will still hit your back.
Additionally, they’re often made of wood with low thermal conductivity to prevent burning or discomfort. Some of the woods used include Hemlock and Thermo-Aspen.
Once the session is done, the user can store the backrest under the sauna bench.
