The world's first infrared barrel sauna, the Finnmark FD-6, is a premium outdoor infrared sauna built from long-lasting premium Clear Grade Western Red Cedar, with the option to add a traditional heater. Seating up to four people, this barrel sauna is heated with 5 of Finnmark's patented UL-listed Spectrum Plus full spectrum infrared heating panels and gets the sauna up to 170°F.

How Delivery Works
How Delivery Works
Your sauna ships via freight carrier — a more personalized delivery experience than standard parcel shipping, with scheduled appointments and hands-on coordination. Here's what to expect:
1. Pick Up From Warehouse (Days 1-3)
Once your order is placed we request a freight carrier to pick up your sauna from Finnmark's warehouse outside of Chicago. We use all of the major freight carriers, including Saia, Estes Express, Custom Companies and ACF Freight. Pick up usually happens within 1-3 business days.
2. Transit to Your Local Terminal (Days 3-8)
Your sauna travels to the freight terminal closest to you. Once it arrives, the carrier will call you directly to schedule a delivery appointment — your sauna won't be delivered without one. Depending on your location, a last-mile carrier with a smaller truck may handle the final leg. We'll let you know if that's the case.
3. Delivery Day (Days 8-10)
On your scheduled date, the carrier will arrive with your sauna and lower it off the truck via liftgate, placing it at your driveway or as close to your home as your space allows. Free shipping includes curbside delivery.
When your sauna arrives, take a moment to inspect the packaging before signing. If you notice any damage, note it on the delivery receipt and email us photos at info@sunvalleysaunas.com — we'll handle it from there.
Total estimated delivery time: 5–10 business days from order placement, depending on your location. Some deliveries take a little longer.

This Finnmark sauna comes with our comprehensive ten year warranty, which covers workmanship and parts on the entire sauna, including the infrared heaters, wood and electronics and any heater purchased with it, plus reasonable labor where a repair requires it. Sauna stones and the traditional heater's heating elements are consumables and aren't covered. Coverage starts on your delivery date. It also comes with an Unlimited Lifetime Warranty on the Spectrum Plus Infrared Heaters.
