Kip: Harvia's best-selling workhorse, and one of the most popular heaters we've sold for years. Choose built-in dial controls, or pair it with a Xenio WiFi control.

Spirit: A newer design that has quickly become one of our most popular heaters. A SaunaLife barrel with a Spirit reaches about 175°F in roughly 45 minutes outdoors in a Sun Valley winter.

Are Harvia sauna heaters good?

Yes. Harvia is one of the best-known sauna heater makers, and the Kip has been one of our top sellers for years. Choose the model by your sauna's size and how you want to control it.

Can you pour water on a Harvia sauna heater?

Yes. Harvia's traditional heaters are made for löyly. Ladle small amounts onto the stones, never onto the controls or electrical parts, and follow your heater's manual.

How long does a Harvia heater take to heat up?

Usually 30–45 minutes indoors, and up to an hour for an outdoor sauna in cold weather. A correctly sized heater heats up faster than an undersized one. Harvia's electric heaters top out at 194°F (90°C).

What size Harvia heater do I need?
